The Power of the Gospel

He also said, "This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain--first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come."

Mark 4:26-29

There is something supernatural that happens when God’s Word and the amazing story of His redemption through a relationship with Jesus Christ is shared with another person. When a seed of the Gospel is planted, either through words, or even better through watching and experiencing the love of Christ through a heart that is surrendered and is being transformed into the heart of God; when this kind of seed takes root in a person’s heart, it will grow and God will use this growth to transform a person’s life back into authentic relationship with Him. You are the planter! God wants to use your life and your actions and your words today to plant the seed of His love into another heart that He so desperately wants to redeem with His love as He has redeemed you. Don’t miss the opportunity to be used by God in this way today – keep your eyes on Jesus, surrender your heart and your will in order that you can look at the world around you through the eyes of God’s Spirit who lives inside in order that His love may overflow with seeds that touch the hearts of many today!
