Faith - Belief - Forgiveness

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and do not doubt in your heart but believe that what you say will happen, it will be done for you. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your
sins."
Mark 11: 22-26

We hear from Jesus this morning how there are two reasons that our prayers as his children are not answered. 1.) We pray with doubting hearts that do not believe 2.) We pray with bitterness in our hearts toward other people, not forgiving them as Christ has forgiven and continues to forgive us for our sins against Him. So, today, pray with confidence out of a sincere heart that God can and will answer your cry for help and be sure to always forgive others and show them the unconditional love and Grace that your Father in Heaven has so lovingly shown to you, though you are undeserving, time and time again. As you communicate with God out of a heart that is truly seeking and surrendering to His call on your life you will find the power within to forgive and to believe in God's loving kindness and providence. Your prayers will change to prayers that honor Him and seek His will and oh how He will answer and come through for you no matter what your circumstance, if you would only believe!
